When fishing points and sloping banks during the prespawn, what key elements dictate the use of a jig over the use of a carolina rig when searching for bass?

Hey all,

If you had a choice, which one of these rods would you get? There is only a $20 difference and I haven't heard much about the Kistler Alton Jones line. Looking for a new jigging rod come spring to fish Folsom.
