Place for my young boys to fish from the bank
I am trying to find a good place for my 2 young boys (7 and 3) to fish from the bank. Somewhere they can catch plenty of bluegills with maybe the occasional bass or crappie. I tried to think of some places on the Delta but all those levees with rock just aren't suitable shore lines for these two. Th...

The real question is how will these several waves of extra water affect the Bass on the delta especially in the franks, mildred, and mandeville area tomarrow (saturday)? Re: Palamar knot ok for fluro?
You can get away with a Palamar knot on long line techniques. I dont recomend it for flipping where you have a hard shock situation especially in cold water. Mike, I would primarily be using the 20lb fluro on a curado 200e7 on a Dobyns 735 for flipping and pitching probably most of the time. What k...

For flippin and pitching it is no issue. I have used Abrazx 20lb on football jigs, main line on C Rigs, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits...the 200e has enough capacity but if you use backing line decrease the amount. Palamar knot ok for fluro?
I am trying fluro (seaguar abrazX) for the first time and I have heard that the palamar knot might cut into itself with the fluro vs other lines. I will be using 20,15,and 12lb if it matters. I usually use braid or yo zuri hybrid and the palamar has never failed me.
