36v LifePo4 100Ah battery
Batteries are shot for my trolling motor, and I was considering running one LifePo4 battery 36v 100Ah. Anyone doing this? I wanted to simplify things in the battery box. Pros/Cons any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm running a MotorGuide TP 109. Thanks!!!

Re: "declare" rule help at Snagproof
Al, We had a 4lb 12oz big fish on day one that i weighted on a very acurate Pelouse scale. We also got bit by the "Declare" rule. When my partner got back in the boat he said, " they didnt even weight our big fish", which was obvious. I'm not trying to one up you, i'm glad you br...

Knots for Braid.
What knots are the best for tying braid directly to big topwater baits and the best knot for tying braid to a flourocarbon leader? I'm currently using a palomer knot and an albright for braid to floro.
Thanks,
Scott
Thanks,
Scott

Re: Prop repair in or near San Jose?
Phil's is great. I dinged up my 25p tempest at clear lake. I sent it to Phil's and when i got it back it, looked like brand new! Quick turn around also.

Rick. I think they should have 1 at every tournament. Me too. But with the "pussification" of America [that is the word of the century imho and kudo's to who said it] I doubt it will happen. Kyle and I lost to Mike at last years Tri-States by a little bit and Mike fished alone and had 3-4...

Re: Mercury Mechanic
Great, Thanks for all the input. It's nice to know that there are a couple of very well respected mechanics out there. Thanks again, this is great info. I'll definetly be storing a couple of numbers in the trusty Blackberry.

Mercury Mechanic
Who is the best Mercury Mechanic? I have an 2004 Optimax 200 and i'm only running on 5 cylinders. I'm going to check for the obvious, but was wondering who the best mechanic is in the Central Valley. I'll drive 3-4 hour to get to the best! Any help or input would be great. Thanks in advanced!

Re: Badge Packers?
Do you still have to be related to the Badge holder? Was going to fish it last year with a CHP friend. When I called and inquired the guy told me I had to be related.
