Re: Anyone stay at the Konocti Harbor Resort since it reopened last year?
Hey Todd! Yes, sir, same old... CL Cottages parking situation probably isn't great during summer weekends. They make you unhook the boat at night and it's a bit tight with rental and guest trailers. I've only stayed there in the off season so it hasn't been a problem. I hook up in the morning, grab...

Re: Anyone stay at the Konocti Harbor Resort since it reopened last year?
The Clear Lake Cottages are just as expensive as the Konocti Harbor resort when they owner makes to pay for a slip that you tell him you won't use. I think I made a good choice by choosing the extra space at Konocti Harbor. The basic room is plenty spacious and about $215 with the AAA discount. The ...

Re: Anyone stay at the Konocti Harbor Resort since it reopened last year?
The rooms certainly got a facelift from the last time we stayed there in 2008. Check out the pricing though. It’s almost $250 a night with all the fees and for that price I’d rather have a big unit with a kitchen over at Clear Lake Cottages. I want to stay at the Clear Lake Vista Resort, but they d...

Anyone stay at the Konocti Harbor Resort since it reopened last year?
I saw online that the Konocti Harbor Resort reopened last year. I'm heading up to Clear Lake for June 6th-14th. Does anyone have any experience with the resort since it reopened? Is it safe, clean, friendly, and easy to charge your batteries? Thanks.

Hey Mike. If you don't find somebody in Ventura, ask Rick at Angler's Marine. He has recommendations. I'm closer to Last Chance in Hemet, and Dan said he has a guy that is the best of the best. He was right. My 2008 Champion 188 came out really nice when I had it done in the summer.

I have caught channel and flathead cats on just about every lure. I'm fishing golf course lakes at night about two nights a week. It's pretty rare that I go more than a month without catching one. Most Public lakes in SoCal are closed to night boating. Night bass tournaments I have fished all had 10 mph Max speed limit at night. You just live in the wrong part of CA. My neighborhood in the Coachella Valley is full of RV garages. The homes aren't outrageous either because the RV owners tend to spend time in their RV's, and don't need a gigantic home.JoeLanghans wrote:Man, If I lived in Alabama and not California....

This is only one study. I have read other studies that suggest the opposite. Regardless, weigh-in fish should be distributed around the lake. This is why the MLF format is a better tournament format for the fish.
