Ok, so, I read in an article that when Ish Monroe rigs up one of his infamous giant tube baits he only puts the hook through one side of the plastic. Huh? Can someone please explain to me how in the heck you're supposed to do this?

Trolling Motor Problems...help!
Hey Guys... Ok, so my trolling motor has been acting stupid and I need to try and get it working properly before a tournament this weekend. For about two months now it has been having problems with randomly shutting off while I'm using it. At first it would only shut off occasionally when I turned i...

Re: What kind of fish is this?
Yeah, that's a goby. Not sure on the specific species though. When I was a kid I used to catch those all the time on the Delta around rocks with just a small piece of night crawler. Then I'd rig it up as bait for stripers. They sell them live at a lot of tackle shops for the striper fisherman. A lot...

Looking for advice from guys who make their own plastics...
So in the past few months, I've started getting into making my own soft plastics by just making plaster molds. It's been going pretty well so far, but there's one main problem that I've been running into. When I try and make a bait with like a curl tail (grubs, worms, etc) I can never get the hot pl...

Re: A million dollars to whoever can find this worm!
The ringer worm looks similar, but the ribs just don't look like they stick out far enough for my liking to move enough water. Also looks like it's got too much of a ribbon tail as opposed to more of a fat curl tail type. Close though... Called Toledo Town & Tackle and the woman I talked to said...

Yes, they are about an 8" ribbed worm with a curl tail. They came in several various colors though. Never saw a black with neon yellow core though?

Re: Boaters don't leave open compartment for Co's
I gotta say this post is very surprising to me and I guess I apparently need to change my ways. Before I admit to this though, let me first say that I fished as a non-boater / co-angler for 6+ years before ever getting a boat of my own. In those 6 years, I RARELY ever recall one of my boaters saying...

Ok, well, not really, but seriously, I need this worm! :-) So many things and people have changed since I used to post on this website, so I'm not sure who all remembers me or remembers what I'm going to talk about, but we'll see. Several years ago I fished in the Rally @ Clear Lake. That particular...

Bill K, just curious as of to what appears to be false about this catch? Maybe you are seeing something I'm not. We've all seen a lot of "potential" world records caught in the last decade or so, and to me, this one most definitely appears to be the most legit out of all of them. It looks ...

The banjo minnow will work on the Delta under the right conditions, just like any other lure. The commercials definitely make it look like a magic lure, but it's not. I've had close to 100 fish days on the banjo minnow, and I've had days where they wanted nothing to do with it...again, just like any...
