Re: BILL SIEMANTEL
Bill, Congratulations on the nomination! You have always been a gentleman and professional toward myself and more importantly to my wife. Taking the time to talk to her, teach her and encourage her about using swimbaits. Your insturctional video was just that, instructional and is good entertainment...
Re: WARNING!
There are many ways they can steal your information. Here is a link to a video that shows how it is done at an ATM. Bottom line, check you ATM or Gas pump for anything that looks out of the ordinary. If it does not look right, pull, push or check it out before you use it if you have to. Also, look a...

Re: Casitas boat inspections..
I have no problem with clean and dry, but not in rod lockers etc. They do not have contact with the water. If someone is being kicked out for having leaves and grass in a cooler, at what point is clean clean? For example, get home from the lake, open your lockers and the wind blows leaves into a com...

Re: Update - Re: Lake Casitas Inspection Notice
Has there been any discussion about a check in and check out for those who fish the lake one day and then the next. If you leave Casitas at 5 pm after fishing all day and then return at 6 am the next day, it is unlikely that your entire boat will be dry even with the plug out, drying out the livewel...

Re: Recap of Casitas Municipal Water District Board Meeting
It was a good job overall, and the attendance was a plus. Where we go from here? We need to pull in everyone outside of the bass fishing world. All of us who fish the lake, see more than bass boats. Everything from ski boats to sail boats. Bottom line, we all have contacts outside of our sport and n...

Re: Casitas Municipal Water District Board Meeting
Anyone who can go to the meeting should attend! I am not sure why everyone thinks there is going to be an angry mob! Give some credit. We are all behind what you are all trying to do and that is the point of going. Most of us who want to attend are not there to keep our business open or make money o...

Re: Casitas Municipal Water District Board Meeting
What says there would be an angry mob? On the contrary, a call for support and combined efforts amongst a large number of fisherman would make an better statement. Is there a chance of a vote to shut the lake down?

Lake Casitas MWD Secret Meeting?
Has anyone heard there is going to be a meeting tomorrow 0930 about the mussel issues at Lake Casitas? Then another meeting Wednesday night with a potential vote to shut the lake down?

BBZ Video
If you have not seen the video done by Bill, you are missing out. It is great fun to watch and makes you want to hit the water. I watched it with my wife. The next day she insisted we go out and throw the bait at Casitas. After fours hours of throwing the BBZ Slow Sink and a lot of frustration, she ...

Re: Tickets at Casitas
I was near the buoy line at the islands. The newest ranger drove up and asked if we were across the buoy line. Of course not, but we were fishing over the line. He stated that was illegal, I questioned this and he confirmed it was illegal. I checked online the muni code, the only statement about no ...

Re: Casitas...
This has been talked about for the last 5 years. The decision was made late last year that there was adequate funding to make this happen. To dredge the estimated cost was over 200 million, not to mention what they were going to do with all the silt. The roads to and from are inadequate to deal the ...

Re: Ventura County upholstry shop?
Mac's Upholstry on Thompson Blvd in Ventura. I have used them to replace seat skins and they did a good job. Tilly's Marine also uses them.
