I am looking for a good used HDS-7 or HDS-8. Just require the Head Unit.

Lowrance has introduced at least three new models. HDS 7, HDS 9 and HDS 12. All are touch screen with built in Structure scan. The HDS 7 touch screen is available October 1st. Check the Lowrance website for more info.

I have purchased an HDS 5 1st gen unit for the cockpit...... :D I will be installing the skimmer transducer at the stern right beside the LSS-2. I will plug that transducer into the HDS 5. Is all I have to do is buy an ethernet cable and attach it at one end to the HDS 5 and the other end into my LS...

Thanks for the reply Ken. I can't decide weather or not to go with a 2nd unit or go with a switch and another transducer. My LMS 350 works fine and it has GPS.
