Great job Charlie!I had the pleasure of being paired up with him at the BASS open at the delta a couple of years back soon after he won that tourney back east.Probably the nicest guy I`ve ever met on the big circuit scene, down to earth and very humble.

I like your club a lot but I have a bad back so we are kind of changing a few rules like allowing trolling motors and what not. I wish you guys allowed trolling motors. I hear ya on the bad back, mine is toast.Thankfully I have a prescrip that take the edge off.The doc told me its good to row though...

Re: Cranking rod
Since I work with Loomis and really don't try other brands, I am not an expert on other fine rods. I do know that the CBR 845 and 847 (7 footers) really handle all my cranking needs. The 843 is a little light for my taste but is probably fine for many. The 845 is a general purpose rod - but - will ...

Re: Did Don Rucks go over to FLW Outdoors?
The thing that bugs me the most and have a hard time justifying fishing these circuits(stren, flw) is that we all have to pay the same entry fee no matter what boat we own or if we own one at all.If I win I get $5000.00,but if a ranger owner wins they get a boat? This just erks me and this is why I`ll...

How many chances do you have to fish with a KVD, or the other "Elite" anglers? There are some who would pay much more to have a shot at fishing with a legand. True, the experience alone I think is worth it.A couple of years back I drew Andre Moore and Charlie Weyer, although I didnt fair ve...

Dewayne, I agree about diluting the team scene. How about a real circuit like we used to fish? An event at Clear Lake, Delta, Oroville, Shasta or Berryessa would be great. As I said, I have not thought this through; it's just an idea to be able to fish some events with buddies. I do like Mac's idea...

Team plus a draw for the 3rd. Randomizing the 3rd person would help prevent any "funny business" and give people a great chance to see the sport. Give preference in registration to teens and anyone who has never fished a even higher than club level. On the other hand, do we need to furthe...
