I just did a little DIY maintenance on BANTAM MGL and now the thumb bar is very sticky( hard to push down) when drag is set to about 70% and up, but when the drag is all the way loose thumb bar engaged/disengaged fine.
spent hours but couldn't figured it out.

Thank you Dan for the offer I’m pretty sure I’ll send in my reel to you in the near future, but as of now I cleaned and replaced the yoke and it work. The corrosion was not that bad It’s was better than I thought....

Bought it new about 2 yrs ago, saltwater used only. The yoke got broken and the pinion gear is stock to the side plate, how do you remove it from the side plate?
I searched with no results, saw a vid on YouTube, pinion gear Was not supposed to stock to side plate..
