The original glass composite Lamiglas rod was XC705C before Skeet Reese had it made yellow as SR705C. The newest version XCC705GH "Graphite Handle" looks like the same rod blank as my XC705C crankbait rod that I still use for deep diving crankbaits.

Lamiglas XCC705GH is very similar, graphite foregrip in lieu of cork.
Dobyns DC705CB is a little lighter power 706CB a little heavier power, neither have cork foregrips, Glass series Dobyns is a heavier weight rod St Glass.

Good looking jigs Gary!
While I have used Gamakasu 604's with my jigs when targeting areas with wood and a weed guard the 114's have worked better for me when making long cast over 100' fishing deeper water sparse cover areas with rock without a weed guard.

This day and age you need a baby monitor in the boat and vehicle to alert you if anyone is attempting to break in. Monitors are inexpensive and portable.

Trout swimbaits work good when the lake has a consistant Hatcuary trout plants and that is a thing of the past in SoCal. Electrical connection issue, corroded switch contacts, brushes needs to be replaced.
Check the wire connections for anything loose. Clean the switch contacts with Deoxit D5. If the simple things don't work it time to look deeper into the motor.

Trinity doesn't have Shad or smelt it does have Kokanee, crawdads and bluegill for forage base plus planted rainbow trout and King salmon, plus brown trout and largemouth bass all targeting the same forage base.

Call G. Loomis customer service to determine turn around time and follow thier instructions. The break looks very clean from the clear photo. What model? Dobyns Fury is a completely deferent rod then a Campion series. Huddleston ROF 5 is diffrent weight then ROF 16. 8" Hudds fish heavy wet and ROF 12 is OK with RF806 is OK the DC 806 is a better choice.
