Re: Bass full of eggs
Here in montana we go some rules that say you cannot posses a bass from June first to july first on Noxon. That is because it has a great smallmouth population and smallies are extreamly easy to catch if they are on beds. So we try to protect them because it is hard to watch 4-6lb smallies go to the...

Re: Havasu and Mead – Why???
We fish tournaments up here when it is snowing and 20 degrees. But when we do it usually the bite is on and is a lot more bearable. But I see it this way if say the National Gaurd is the "Priemier" of the west lets PRIEMIER what the west has to offer and it is not catching 9lb in three day...

Re: Havasu and Mead – Why???
Nipples: You are correct about the lower lake the only thing you need to fish past Harrison is a tribe license its five bucks. The permit still comes fron Idaho Dept of Fish And Wildlife. The launch is would have to be out of Cour'D Alene. As most tournament are held out of Harrison as there is no f...

Re: Havasu and Mead – Why???
I usually like tough tournaments but I agree that if more fish are not caught it will be tough to fill the co side. I will admit Havasu flat kick my arse and it is a fishery that fits my style of fishing. Congrats to Mike but I can see why he would like to keep it there. I think we should fish Cour'...

Re: National Guard Western Tri-Cities Ques?
If you are interested I will be over there and fishing a few times this year. I have fished it a few times before and know a little. But maybe we can get together and fish. Especially if you know the reach I have been to scared to run it. I live in Montana and have fished a couple tournaments there....

Re: What About Being Back Seated As AM In FLW Or Stern ?
As a Pro I have had two experiences that I leard from one was a bed fish I had found during practice. I went to that fish first thing I saw two fish on beds I positoned the boat so we could both fish for diffrent fish. The one I was on was five lbs. I was tied to a dock. When he could not catch his ...

Re: What's the strangest thing you've seen while on the wate
Last year during the Stren Havasu pre-fish my wife and I were coming down the river when I had on cove I would fish real fast and go. As I worked my way in we saw something floating thought it was a life jacket. Stop fishing and got closer. As I got right on top of it I could see hands down in the w...

Re: Ever had problems with HPDI's?
It is not the batteries. This is common for what ever reason when it is cold you just have to give it a little thottle and it will start and it might die once. Do it again. It should run the rest of the day. I run up here in Montana and its cold all the time. All the guys I know that has a HPDI this...

Re: FLW Series Entry numbers...
I see you guys are talking about money to fish these tournaments. Well I love the idea of going to the Columbia River. It is eight hours for me but I fish it enough. I've fished the last three years on the Stren as a boater. Never been to any of the lakes until I prefished for the Tournaments. And I...
