Can anyone help me been trying to find out what lakes don’t allow it and if it’s worth getting a 2 stroke. First boat and don’t wan...

SalTY, I fully agree and appreciate your question - why go so fast? Some guys chose a certain boat w/motor for the speed alone, but your choice should be what BOAT you want, and then be sure its matched well with a good engine. If matched right, its gonna go plenty fast. All boats ride their best w...

Bluegill fishing on Delta

I want to take my four year old grandson fishing for the first time this summer on a weekday. I assume bait under a bobber on a weedbed is a decent choice. Can anyone tell me the best months and preferred tides for this sort of action? Thanks in advance.

Back in 2000 when I ordered a Triton TR19 fitting it in my garage was a big piece of the puzzle. It was between a 19’ Nitro and the Triton. If you look at the way boats are contoured at the transom some bow out like the Nitro and Ranger, while others curve inward making the total package shorter. Wi...

Back in 2000 I was comparing the 19 foot Triton to the 19 foot Nitro and the price difference was not significant. I learned that the biggest $ savings buying Nitro was in 18' or less versions. Perhaps the painfully loud (terrorist breaking ) music wakeboarders blast from the towers on their boats is what is killing the aquatic vegetation . No spraying would be needed if true .

You are smart to move on from the smalerl truck in favor of a full sized truck. Pretty much any 1/2 ton full sized truck will meet your needs. Smaller trucks simply aren't designed to be pulling 18'+ fiberglass boats. Usually the transmissions can't handle it. Way back in the day I towed a 16' Bayli...
