All the years I’ve been fishing the Delta I should probably know the answer to my question. Can anyone tell me if water temps on 10/10 are a little warmer than the average year? I suspect the temps are a bit warmer than normal.

I recently took my five year old grandson bluegill fishing on the Delta and we caught plenty. Not much size, but at that age they just wanna catch something. I targeted high tide with rock and weed combinations. We used a bobber with a red worm a couple feet below it. I tried to get fancy and also b...

Re: CA RIVER DELTA... WHERE SHOULD I GO?!

How do you like to fish? Are you a reaction bait guy or a finesse guy? Also, use heavy line. It's not because the fish are so big but because of the terrain. When you hang a bait in a tule it can take 17lb mono or heavier strength in braid or floro to reel down and strip your bait through the tule.

Around $30k for a 300? Guys at Boatmasters told me a Mercury 400 is $36k. Good luck finding diesel fuel on the water. It was once explained to me that outboard motors are basically racing engines that are balanced and blueprinted, hence the high price.
