Re: Bullfrog Landing Customer Service

I've also had good experiences at Bullfrog. Speaking of good marina's, I'm a big fan of Tiki Lagun. They have the cheapest gas on the Delta $3.64 for 89 and 3.94 for 91. Heck, I can't do much better than that at home! They now have a good and reasonably priced cafe and bar. The only negative is it d...

Nevermind, join a club. If you are struggling on the delta on slack tides, you need to join a club before fishing the money tournaments. I’m only able to fish 5 hours every two weeks. I stay away from tournaments because I would simply be donating my entry fee. If you’ve done that for 20 years, you...

If you have never fished tournaments, I would suggest joining a club to get a feel of what tourney fishing is about. In most clubs, you can fish as a non-boater, they will pair you up with a boater. To locate a club in your area, just click on the "Interactive" tab above, then click on &q...

Honesty is always the best policy but keep in mind that if the speedometer says 70 your boat may only be traveling around 65 on GPS. I guess the point is don't be silly and say your 20 footer with a 250 only goes 55!

Ive always had more confidence fishing the high tide. I really like an early morning high tide best. I have the least confidence with a mid day low tide. Thanks for the battery explanation, Rod. My boat is so bare bones I didn't understand the need for a big cranking battery, now I do! When it comes to regular old acid batteries, my favorite has always been American brand. They are made over in Hayward and sold at Boatmasters in Livermore.

as a dedicated cranker I hold the rod at the angle that allows me to fish over the top of the weeds on the Delta. I love the Speedtrap and often hold my rod tip high so I can still fish the bait instead of going to a more shallow running crankbait that I have less confidence in.
