Any info on Cast for Kids at Del Valle?
I have a friend who volunteered as a boater last year and she is asking if there is any info for this years event at Del Valle.
Is anyone from here volunteering to be a boater this year?
Does anyone have any information that I can pass on?
Thanks much!

One solution that comes to mind for the guys that mark up the photos, don't take the picture in the same spot you caught it. All the guides that I've been with practice this. None have ever taken the photo in or near the spot it was caught. If your bank fishing, then thats a different story in my op...

Cooch,
I tried this last night with some cod fillets! Turned out great!!
Thanks for recipe, I'll be using it on many more fish to come.
By the way, I used Sam Adams Winter Ale instead of Corona, Nice!!

Question about holding bass for pictures
I was re-reading some magazine articles about the 25lber that was boated in 2006 in SoCal. Mike Winn is holding that monster by her lower jaw. Can't this do permanent damage to a bass of that weight? Also, at what weight would holding a bass this way be okay to do? I caught an 11.2 back in 2005 and ...

The only difference I can tell is the marking directly behind the gills on Chris' fish versus the pic on top. Hard to tell, but damn, this looks like the same fish! That is very interesting.

Yes, he apologized for what he did, but that doesn't take away the fact that he could've hurt or killed somone with his actions. Boating safety should be on the top, if not near the top, of the list of items for the classic. Yes, it is nice he apologized, but he should be DQ'd from the entire event ...

He is an ***, he needs to be banned. What he did could have caused serious injury to others. His taking the blame is not good enough. There needs to be stiffer penalties against him. What a jackass he is, so arrogant.
