Re: Rob, check your email
Flat Foot has a larger drain line and more heel room in my opinion. Cabela's only stocks the Flat Foot for Minn Kota but will have both models by the end of this month from what i've been told. BPS will also have the Flat Foot by the end of December

Yes and being in the Industry.......
I know how the boat manufacturers think. I have seen the Cast unit and it is a great idea and concept. Boat manufacturers however, have a mental block across the board that if it retails for under 250.00 doallrs it should be available to them for $20.00 and if we can add it to our boats for 20, what...

That is my Fear and reason for a neggative post
I fear that as boat manufacturers get on board with this new CAST technology, they will then discontinue installing the lanyard type kill switch. If this becomes the case the consumer is at higher risk over a $5.00 tried and proven life saving device.

The Thinking End
Sieg have you ever been thrown from a boat at 70+MPH? I have and on your way out you are turning the wheel. That alone gets the boat turning and headed back at you. You don't have time or power to dodge the oncoming boat while waiting on the transmitter to become submerged. I congratulate them on th...

Wireless Lanyard
The problem I see with this idea/product is the engine had better be dead BEFORE you hit the water. If not the boat is already turning to run you over. The current kill swith method stops the engine before you are in the water. Great idea until more people are being killed. News from ICAST has been ...

Nice Looking Copy
Proving once again Trey knows how to copy some of the best Custom builders in the industry. My guess is that next year he will also have some BS buzzwords to go along with his revolutionary new split reel seat. And the following year he will add a spiral guide system like none other to date. His rod...

I agree Bill
As a small businessman trying to get my own medical products on the market and a friend of the guy who builds the Flat Foot, it really rubs me the wrong way to see offers like Dan made. I consider his offer, in your words, "a fly in the ointment, if you know what I mean". Further I see him...

I run the Flat Foot
And having seen and used others I would go with the Flat Foot. The design has several features the other manufacturers haven't figured out yet. One would be the larger drain line. Another would be the angle in the heel area for more heel room than the other 2 units mentioned above. As for Dan, there...

Flat Foot
Hi Mark, Glad you like it. I think the flat foot has to be the all time best "comfort feature" I ever added to a boat.

S Glass availability
I have talked with Randy Hooper at Seeker several times in the past year and to my knowledge they have no problem getting S-Glass fabric. Thanks Cooch
You didn't mention one of the largest glass blank manufacturers, Seeker. They have plenty of knowledge in building glass blanks both E and S. St. Criox also offers some decent, and some not so decent, S-Glass blanks. I'm not surprised you didn't find anything about S-Glass at GLoomis since as I reca...

Cooch a couple corrections, respectfully!
You said, "Today, the prefered choice is by far, Fiberglass." I agree completely. You went on to say, "E-Glass, has earned its place at the top of the fiberglass heap." E-Glass has been around the longest but S-Glass was introduced about the same time as graphite thus got lost in...

Cheaper than factory at Cabela's
Flat Foot is at Cabela's and priced less than buying from the factory. Thought a few of you might want to know. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/index/index-display.jhtml?id=cat21380&navAction=jump&navCount=1&parentId=cat21276&parentType=category&cmCat=MainCatcat21276
