Experience with Nord Boats Sale
Has anyone ever bought or sold a boat through Nord Boats Sale and Consignment? I’m buying a bass boat through them now and am waiting much longer than expected for the boat to arrive.

Re: THREE 13+ lb largemouth bass in One Day
We should start a program like this in California ASAP! Having grown up in Texas I know that’s a big ask for Cali but we’ve got some of the best bass waters in the world right here. It’s time to invest in the assets we have and improve the genetic stock of our impoundments.

Re: Camanche Reservoir
I fished Camanche 2 weeks ago and wasn’t asked where my boat had been. No sign of any quagga inspection at the north ramp.

Boat position in the wind
Am I wrong to think that when the wind kicks up and starts moving baitfish over structure like a main lake hump, bass will face the current waiting for an easy meal? I know this is basic stuff, but the reason I ask is I’m weighing the necessity of a trolling motor with spot lock like an Ultrex. I’ve...

Re: Identifying Deep Water Fish
Thanks for the great feedback!! I’d bet money they were carp. I just can’t imagine bass at that depth. I’ve seen hundreds of acres of water boiling at a time on Camanche when carp are spawning. There must have been thousands of them hugging the bottom in the river channel. I wish we could do somethi...

Identifying Deep Water Fish
Yesterday at Camanche I found a ton of big fish stacked nose to tail on the bottom in 100 feet of water at a river channel bend. Surface temp was 54 degrees with cloudy skies. I know bass will lay in the mud in the winter but not at that depth. Nothing I’ve ever seen from catfish either. I can only ...

Re: Is Clearlake worth the trip?
I was there last weekend on the full moon. From 10 pm - midnight giant bass were blowing up all around my boat on a main lake point. I literally threw ever topwater in the tackle box with no luck. It was my second time on Clear Lake and while incredibly frustrating showed me why it is one of the bes...

Prop Recommendation
After hitting a boulder at Camanche this weekend I need a new prop for my 150 Yamaha V-max on a 18’6” Skeeter. Im hoping someone can steer me in the right direction as to the best stainless steel option. Thanks!

Re: Huddlestons at Folsom lake
I haven’t tried a swimbait at Folsom but sure appreciate your approach. I fish Comanche and am anxious to throw a big Megabass swim bait like Chris Zaldain. I tried it this summer with no luck but am thinking the trout plant will dial it up. Good luck to you and keep us posted! The chance of getting...

Looking at a Skeeter
Hi guys! This is my first post, and I just have to thank everyone for all the great info on this site. I’m looking at buying a 2001 Skeeter SX 190 with a 150 Yamaha vmax. The upper unit / powerhead was replaced early under warranty. Since then it’s only been used 40 hours and always garaged. I love ...
