I don't see how a boat driver's license will prevent drunk driving. This is how the cost of living is increased. More regulation and enforcement without any regard for the value and effectiveness.

The AGM 31 for cranking use should not be a deep cycle. The AGM numbering system does not equate to the size, a higher number does not necessarily equal a higher capacity. Most of the elites run lithium batteries. I run a Northstar group 31 and have no issues. They are also re-labeled and sold under many other names. Odyssey, cabelas, drakon, no longer available diehard platinum, bat + x2 etc. They are big and heavy. I watch the Elites and see some of them with 4 - 12...

You need a prop of known quality. IMO a used or repaired prop is less then ideal. Post on bass boat central on the skeeter forum and the prop section.

Raising will usually increase the top speed and max rpm.

I like spec's and think I could come to terms with the look. My only concern is the reliability since it much more complex then the 3l two stroke it replaces.

Saltwater intrusion is the main reason but the steelhead spawn is also a factor. The only issue I have is they let out far more then they needed and they did not let it fill all the way up. You can order them from pacific Trailers. If you do not know which calipers you have you can e-mail them a picture or call them. They should be organic material and not semi-metallic.

My F150 has a 11klbs tow capcity and the brakes on the newer F150's are huge. I really like the diesel trucks but they are expensive and do have a longer wheel base which reduces their maneuverability.

I have a 14 with the 5l and my friend has the 3.5 ecoboost. The 5l is a 2wd with a 3.55 locker and the 3.5l is a 4wd with 3:73. The 3.5 ecoboost is the way to go.
