Re: Pacific NW Boat ?
Thanks for the replies guys. I was looking at the Champion bay boats or something like one of the Parker bay boats. When I moved up here last year I was talking to the guys at North River about pushing the forward helm back to be able to fish bass, but I don't think it will function the way I want i...

Pacific NW Boat ?
Curious if anyone is running a bay boat up here in the Oregon/Washington area. I moved up last year from SoCal and used my 17 foot bass boat all year. It got kind of squirrely on the Columbia a couple times. I'd like to go to a larger boat, but I am not sure I want to go to a NW style boat. My prima...

Re: Colorado Bass Fishing?
I relocated outside of Boulder last year and have been having a pretty good year. I focus on Horsetooth for smallies. During the spawn and post spawn, I was having 50-100 fish days on smallies up to about 3 lbs. There are also some really nice walleye in there as well. There are also some really nic...

Re: Any own a Stratos 176??
I own one with a 75 opti. I've hit 48 on the GPS with just me and the dog along with a half tank of gas. Very nice ride for the size. The wife likes to read books on the back deck while I fish. It has been everything we were looking for.

Re: Big Bass at Diamond Valley Lake
So if you guys really think this is Greg spamming why aren't you asking if he is going to ramp up production to support demand? No one can really keep them in stock since only makes a small amount of them a year. I've fished with Greg before, he's not one to come on this board and try and create a b...

Re: Small bassboats
I have a Stratos 176, I have a 75 opti on it and have topped out at 46 mph on the GPS with the wife and golden retriever. Lots of storage, and rides well in the slop. Fishes two people very well.

Re: BASS GEAR IN EUREKA?
I'm curious of what good swim baits will do up there. As a graduate of the fisheries program at Humboldt, I know of zero bass at FW Lagoon that eat trout, I've done enough stomach sampling to prove it. Now if I were a three spined stickleback I'd be worried. The bass are stunted in Ruth. That leaves...
Re: Rudeness
Had the same thing happen to me during the WON tourney a couple of weeks ago at Casitas. The first time I had two boats converge on me at the same time when the shad popped up on the back side of the island. One of them tried to muscle me or started shouting how he was a tourney fisherman so I pulle...

You can get one at Petsmart. They sell them for finding dog puddles.
