yeah BV would be the best bet.the first lake of the two is the ski lake.its plenty big enough for what ever you are going to test drive.10$ to get in I believe.big bass in there too.

just like how you have to smog cars and trucks that run on gas,you will now have to smog ones that run on diesel.trucks and cars.heavy duty vans and cars like the volkswagon jetta turbo diesel are some. as long as you havent messed with anything and there isnt excessive smog coming form the tail pip...

just received confirmation through the state that starting in Jan. 2010
all 98-present diesel trucks under 14000 lbs will be smogged in Ca.
it is only a computer and parts check.meaning,programmers and hop up parts will be cause for failure.unless the parts have a C.A.R.B #
on them.

thanks for the input guys.when I bought the boat it was not with the intention of having it running in a month.Im gonna take my time with the resto and do it right.plus getting in so cheap will leave more room for the things I think are most important in a boat...good TM,graphs,
and lots of tackle.

the fish report in the fresno bee says they are catching them on shad.
no trout report or plants that I saw.100% just had a tourney there and winning weight was 9lb and change.mostly a spotted bass lake I think.
