Re: Major League Fishing Suspends James Watson
If what James Watson says in podcasts is true then he has a legitimate reason to call BS. Whether you like him or hate him you got to give him credit to stand up for himself and all the other anglers that won't or can't say what they NEED to say. Boyd has been given notice and it will be interesting...

The moral of this story is don't mess around with cats. I'm sure your reaction was to get the cat out as soon as possible; you should of thrown towel or heavy blanket over it to keep it busy while you opened the trunk. Like I said your first reaction is to try and help the cat. Live and learn. I got...

It has always pissed me off that as a boater you have to pay a day use fee and a launch fee. A 75% increase for the people that use the least amount of resources at the lake is crazy. We started using a system similar to bump boards in a 20 member small bass club 30 years ago. It was before smart phones so we used a punch card system to record the fish length. Your co-angler would verify the measurement. You turned in your best 5 measurements. If you where solo than you would we...

If the fish isn't fizzed quickly after its been caught, it will not make it after riding around upside down in the live well all day to then be fizzed after weigh in. For me it's the up close and personal style of fishing, flipping, punching and throwing frogs. I fish the motherlode lakes mostly and catching a 2 pounder on a drop shot in 40' is nowhere close to flipping into a tule clump with 65lb braid a big ol' hook and getting bit.

You have to be versatile to fish here in my opinion. You can drop shot fish in 50 -75' of water on our lakes or flip fish in 1' of water on the delta. If you are going to fish all the water California provides then adaptability is going to be key.
