Re: COLUMBIA RIVER WATER-????
Brunobasser has nailed the problem. Why should Oregon and Washington send water south to support S. Californias bad habits. And who is going to pay for it? Have you checked your states finances lately? New's flash.....Your f'n broke! The water in the Columbia is better spent supporting salmon and st...

Re: COLUMBIA RIVER WATER-????
I live west of Portland 30 miles down river. The Columbia is a great fishery for salmon, steelhead, sturgon, largemouth and smallmouth. Smallmouth in this part of the river is a untapped fishery, I am happy to have it basicly to myself. When ever I reed something as stupid as your idea, I cant help ...

Re: Thanks to everyone!!!!
Glad to hear your home Gary.
You scared the hell out of all of us. Hope you are back on the water soon.
Your story got me thinking, I always wear my PFD, but seldom hook up my kill switch. It will be hooked up at all times from now on.

I see two major problems with that video.
1, Dobyns has never been that skinny.
2, Dobyns will never be that skinny.

Re: Pro mariner charger
I have one on my boat, and it is one of the best for fully charging your batteries. They are recomended by the guys at Rolls batteries because of the difficulty charging the thick plated cells in the Rolls. But I will say that I have had logevity issues with them. In 10 years of using the Pro Marine...

Re: What Batteries do you run????
Well, you got the best there is, but what was your initial outlay? I looked into them and could buy three sets of Trojan grp 31's and still not spend as much [ thats 4 batteries at a time]. They are certainly the best I've ever heard about, but man you better bring your mastercard :D How heavy are ...

Re: What Batteries do you run????
I have a set of Roll's that are on there 11th season. It's not years that makes a good battery, it's cycles. In other words how many times you discharge and then recharge your batteries. I get out about 50 times a year, so I have over 500 cycles on my Roll's. And that is all river fishing on the Col...

Re: Is California in the north west?
Mike said it best, forget trying to pattern anything on the Columbia.
I would suggest you find as many potential areas as you can and then keep trying them thruout the day. They may not be there at first, but a hour later there could be a bunch of them.
