As other have stated, they can't close the track without spend a ton of money.

I maybe way off track here, but I thought I read somewhere that oxygentors and salt water don't behave well together...I think they said that chlorine was generated, and it killed fish. Something to research in case you fish brakish water like the delta in places.

From what I've read, the state considers the risk to those lakes as the same as Pardee......very low risk of mussles establishing themselfs due to low calcium concentrations in the water.

Not that I've ever fished Keswick, but I have fished the Sac river below it. Water temeratures never get above 60 degrees year 'round...usually mid 50s because it's bottom fed from Shasta dam. I seriously doubt there is much of a bass population, if any. Same story with Lewiston Res. below Trinity L...

The really silly part about this is the choice of location
Instead of cutting off navigatable waterways, couldn't they select one of the areas that have 2 parralel sloughs? Like some sections of Holland cut, the sloughs near cruser haven & the railrod tracks, or Victoria slough? That way they can have thier fun and it would'nt effect regular traffic muc...
