It most likely one of the first to come in right after the new dam was built but I don't think there were any in the old lake. They stripers started living in the lake from the CAP water.

This is the new "inland" record the CO river lakes are different and I believe that record is 67 pounds currently. Its a great fish for inland lakes here in the heat.

Well they can certainly effect a bass lake but it depends on the lakes bio diversity. How much inflow nutrients does it get, how much cover is there, etc etc. Not all lakes are the same as Powell turned out to be when they hit it. Many lakes do very well with both species.

New Arizona record Striper
A new inland record striped bass weighing 27.28 pounds and measuring 42 1/4 inches was caught at night at Lake Pleasant near the 1702 sign in 100 feet of water on a water dog.
