We already have high school "fishing clubs" down here in San Diego. They have a tournamnet agianst one another once a year. Next step, sanctioned high school Bass Fishing tournaments. This is a great idea. Give these kids something good to do.

I know some of you use the City Lakes here in San Diego and after two years of meetings ... The City Water Department is proposing a fee hike to use the lakes. There is a meeting tonight that is open to the public but more than any thing you need to write your council member and voice your opinion a...

reminder to the tournament groups ... this means you will have to move all your tournaments that were scheduled for San V. for October and probably thru December as they would not give me a time frame as to when they would put more water in the lake.

A note to all that use San Vicente here in San Diego... As of Sept. 14th San V is closed to all launching of boats! This is a wake up call to us all. This is miss management on the water departments part as to what the water level are at the lakes. This is the first time that San V. has been closed ...

Thats the very same thing I said ... why should be DQ'd for the whole tournament ... Ike was only DQ'd for the day at the classic! I think Trip messed up on this one ... I sent BASS the same thought ... not that it ever does any good with them.
