1 oz. of water weighs about 1 oz. Think of 1 shotglass retained by 5 fish and or bag. Makes you want to keep those fish soaked as long as possible.

Re: CBC San Diego-Poll
The point I was trying to make is that a lot of qualifiers live close to bbl and will get a lot more prefishing in compared to the southern guys because of the distance.I just thought that might decrease the already low turnouts down south, that's all. Tom stated today that all qualifiers will get $1...

Re: CBC San Diego-Poll
I just think the regional should be somewhere in the center of the locals to draw more anglers in-that's all.More participation means more money for you at Clear Lake.Maybe I'm wrong so I put it to a poll.Anything wrong with that? A couple of local events drew only 36% full fields.

Re: CBC Payout
The fact that qualifiers get the $1000 even if they don't fish Clear Lake has to be HUGE! If that were known earlier I'll bet you would have had much more participation down south. Next year you could probably double the entry and payouts and still fill the locals this way. $2000 for making the top ...

With the low participation in the So-Cal local events will the regional top 10 qualifiers still get $1000 at Clear Lake? Also do they get the $1000 even if they cannot make it to Clear Lake?I think if that were the case and the regional lake was fair to everyone the local events would fill up, and i...

Can the boater fish? If so do his fish count? Can a friend ride along?I was at the weigh-in last year and a staff member told me no to the above. Some official rules posted would be good to avoid any misunderstanding.
Re: Skinner?
Do yourself a favor and go to Perris instead. Some good fish being caught on the dam.At Skinner they inspect your boat when you leave for mussels then tell you to stay off other water for 5 days. The place is boring and you have to go slow all over that little lake.

All the delivery systems won't do much good if a Judge won't let the water flow south from the Delta.Rainfall runoff will do almost nothing for this lake and quagga river water is out.Untill Delta water is made available in large amounts I think we will just have to live with low water levels.

The gap between the ramp and the blocks needs to be filled with rock again. Same goes for the hollow spaces in the blocks. This could be done in one day and will greatly improve the safety of the ramp.Everyone is still paying full price to use it and deserve better.

That sounds reasonable Oldschool. Most of the really sad looking fish I catch are around 4.5 but have heads like 6's or 7's.Some are so bad off I'm sure they are going to die.The shorts and smallies seem to be ok.I liked catching them deep in the Winter but I'll stay above 35' now.
