I fish way to much with Senkos. About 95% of my fishing. Sad because it limits me a lot in learning other techniques, but I catch bunches of fish. I mostly fish Yamato 4" smoke rootbeer with copper flake, But I used to use black/red laminate Kinami and caught an 8 lb on those and many 4+. I've ...

I think bass tournaments should be (and are) run rigid, like golf tournaments. It should be a gentleman's game with very rigid rules and lots of honor. I think the worst form of cheating I've heard of is holding pre-caught fish. What slime balls. I guess that happened on Clear Lake once. I heard tha...

They are beautiful animals. Part of nature and yes very protected. They eat carp, Catfish, Bluegill, Minnows, hitch, Crayfish too. Its not like they are just bass hunters. If the food supply drops, so do their numbers. I doubt they hurt the environment as much as we do.

One theory I've heard is there are late spawners. While most spawn at the regular times there are fish that spawn a lot longer. I have no knowledge that this is indeed true but I've heard many fisherman say it.

Sometimes the SPCA will make a better effort to place them. There are often non-profit groups who will never put them down byt place them. Ask your local vets about such groups.
