Re: Jerry's Gas Tax !......
It really amazes my how out of touch folks are when it comes to state budget issues. The gas tax hadn't been raised since 1994 and when it was it was raised by Republican Governor George Dukemejian. 100% of the gas tax a person pays at the pump will go to fix and maintain California state and local ...

Re: Opinion on Aluminum (Tracker) vs Fiberglass in Wind
I have a Triton 18-ft Aluminum boat with a 150 Yamaha. Its a great boat to tow, easy to store and runs all day on a tank of gas. The only downside is the high winds and running chop. But when the winds are blowing 20+ mph everybody -- even the big glass boats are running to find some relief. I agree...

I just broke my favorite glass cranking rod, that rod caught countless 8lb+ fish on the Delta. It was a custom built Seeker "S" Glass 705. Unfortunately, the gentlemen who built me that rod passed away a few years back. Can anybody recommend anything comparable? Primarily used for throwing...

Just my 2cents and I do not have any bones to pick. My partner bought a pair, I forget what style but they had the foam inserts. They looked good, but lasted a season or two before breaking. The material got pretty brittle after some time in the sun.

Took a buddy up last weekend fun fishing. After catching a boat load of trout, ran up Mokelumne and hit some deeper rock walls and coves for bass. This is actually the 3rd Generation of Bobby's Perfect Frog. The original was the softest material by far and the best bait produced in my opinion.
