Heavy Swimbait Application
Okay fellas, give me some input here. What rod models would you suggest for throwing the larger wake baits and how heavy a fluorcarbon line would you recommend for the heavier swimbaits like the BBZ, huddleston, etc.??

Re: A LITTLE TO MUCH
There are alternatives obviously, depending on that old price tag. My buddy just bought a Ranger 208, with the new SHO 225. Out the door was about 55k. I know, still a lot of dough, but not 75k. The 208 is essentially the 520 DX series boat hull.

Re: Seaguar Carbon Pro VS Invisix
I started using Invisx about six months ago. It is very limp line but I was using it in 10 and 12 lb., for cranking and dragging baits. Thusfar I think it's one of the best FC lines I've ever used. It comes off the spool great and is highly resistant to nicks and abrasion.

I've had two trolling motor transducers for my X-135. I had this problem with both transducers.

Re: Fishing Mexico
Thanks again for that update Big Ed. Don't know yet about the time as another party is involved as well. I think we're looking at numbers as opposed to trophies.

Re: Do you buy "senko" immitations on ebay?
I've used this guy on EBay: Luckieoz. He's out of Michigan and his product is Anise scented with a sink rate as good as the Senko.. a step above other imitations I've tried. As for guys that say only a Senko is a Senko; just keep paying that $6-$7 per bag.

Re: Oroville Slot Limit?
Yes, a slot limit since at least 1980. Provides for a lot of nice 12 inch Spots. Too bad no one wants to take some of those fish out. But they're so scrawny and skinny you can't get a decent fillet unless you take a 100 of them.

Re: Moving to the Delta OR Clear Lake
Todd, I live in Vacaville, but I've owned a house on Clear Lake for 7 years now. Here's my take on the do's and don't's: If you're on the water and you're in an area that is exposed to heavy wind or wave action, you will almost need to have a boat lift on your property. Failure to have this feature ...
