Just wanted to give a shout out to Wild West Bass and the entire staff for a fantastic job from start to finish. These folks had smiles on their faces while taking a beating from the weather. The folks from registration, Livewell checks, camera staff and weigh in staff were as about as professional as you can get!
There was a good weigh crowd despite the torrential downpour with creeks turning into rivers. Please come out and fish these as a pro or a co and you will be amazed at the contingency payouts that keep getting stronger. Delta in June can't wait!!! Richie Rich

I totally agree with you Rich! The weather was a challenge to say the least, but the WWBT staff made it a great experience. Not only do they work hard, they care about the anglers as well and it shows.
This is the tournament trail that the West has been waiting for. Can't wait for the Delta. See you there.

Re: Great job WWB in monsoon conditions
They do a top notch job. This was my second Pro Am as the Pro and the weather was just about as bad as it could get, I guess. I wasn't looking forward to the launching of my boat, but they ran it very smooth with rollers rolling into the ramp Saturday. I had engine problems so they put my day two Co angler in another boat and let me chose weather to stay and fish while taking my chances with the boat or just bail. As hard as it was, I only weighed one fish on day one and my nerves were shot dealing with the engine issue so I decided to not deal with all the above Sunday. The boats getting fixed and I can't wait for the Delta event. For my first exsperience at the front of the boat, the Wildwest tour is a dream come true for this float tuber. Thanks for every thing.

Thanks for great comments. Much appreciated. Maybe we figured out how to end our drought....throw a WWBT event
This will be a great TV show though. We got lots of footage of John McClellan catching his winning bag. The water came up 16 feet on Saturday and Sunday with rivers running across the parking lot. The wind was the worst factor to deal with. All in all, I think it was our best event so far....not the best numbers but best ran from our side. Thanks to the guys that supported the event!!!!

Re: Great job WWB in monsoon conditions
Very nice job at Oroville WWBT. Jason did an amazing job running this event, the partner pairings were ran incredible and the WWBT crew
had things running smooth & efficient.
One more thing that I have not seen mentioned is the emcee. Craig is doing a stellar job at announcing everything during the weigh in. When I got home I watched the second day weigh-in and the awards that were on the WWBT Facebook page. It was entertaining to sit back and watch the event. During this, I just thought how difficult being an emcee would be and I think that Craig is handling it perfectly. Nice job!
Also, congrats to all the top finishers, you guys earned it and adjusted well to the conditions.
