Anyone Fish Bullards Bar Lately

I have a father and young son that want to go fishing while camping there. Has anyone fished Bullards lately?
Is it worth the trip. Not expecting the monsters just would like to know if catching a few fish is possible.

Collins is always a good option. Top water bite should be on.

You should have no trouble catching a lot of bass in the early morning. Problem is - they are mostly 6 to 12 inchers. You might get into a bigger bass if you work the steep drop-offs and points. Also, drop Senkos next to the off-shore trees. That might be your best bet for a quality spotted bass!
