Surf SHARK Fishing Jones Beach NY

Headed out late in the day early evening looking for sharks in particular. Just brought the big hooks I use for sharking and the lightest of my bigger fishing rods, the old Penn Squidder 140 on a PENN Spinfisher rod (conventional model of course) this rod and reel set up been through years of fishing and still clicks.

The fishing was great to say the least. I was in 3 casts 3 sharks! Second shark took about 5 seconds after it hit bottom! Gregory was about to leave but the sharks asked him to stay! we split the rod and probably did better then folks who tote 2 rods a time. Every cast yielded a shark, hit or dropped fish for hours. Missed a few on the camera it happens when your doing 3 things at once but there was so much I had to beak it into 2-3 videos! This is Part one of II. Sharks ranges from 3-5.5 feet about 20-80lbs or more. looking again at the one in part II it may be 100lbs.

I was as tired as the sharks by the end of the night when they hit the beach. Austin showed up just before dark and he got into a pile of sharks as well. Between the 3 of us we may have had close to a ton of fish! NO JOKE! Thanks as always for watching and hope you enjoyed the video as much as we did making it!
