Boatmasters Bacon Savers

Post by CBS »

Need to put a shout out to Boatmasters. While launching my boat last weekend I noticed an oil slick one side of my boat. As I have cool hubs on my Ranger trailer I suspected I had blown a seal. After parking the trailer I checked the wheel only to find I had lost the entire inspection window cap assembly. I called Boatmasters and spoke to Drew who suggested I bring it in less boat to minimize weight. He said he had one tech working and they were as busy as the 4th of July but they would try to take care of me. An hour and a half later I was back at Orwood pushing off the dock with my newly repaired trailer sitting in the parking lot. What a relief to go from having visions of burning up my bearing, loosing a wheel ant having it towed home to actually having it fixed. Merry Christmas Boatmasters!

I'll add my story. My son had wiped out his Merc prop on some Delta rocks, so we tried putting an old Yamaha SS prop I had laying around in my garage. It didn't seem to fit right, so I took it into Boatmasters to see if there was a fix. The employee behind the counter took me out to their shop and tried the prop on a lower unit they had. He showed me which washers I needed from the Merc prop. Told me I shouldn't need to buy any parts.

Now that's what I call good customer service! Thanks Boatmaster.
