Trolling motor interference
So my graph is all of the sudden picking up massive amount of Interference from my ultrex.is there a ground fuse in the ultrex head. Already checked all the wires nothing is loose graph and trolling motor cables are separated never did it in 3 years

Remove the Ipolite from the top of the trolling motor you will see a brown wire with a fuse holder, check the fuse if it is blown, try a new one and if it blows again there is a short some where, hopes this info helps

I am not a Minn-Kota tech, but the fuse is in the Control Head. See page 37 at following link.basshol wrote:Do you mean to remove the top half of the head unit

Didn't you just add/upgrade your talon's.
If the fuse in the TM head is ok and the interference you are seeing started after your upgrade, you might want to double check any new wiring. In a lot of cases interference is related to grounding so verify that the grounding for your electronics is completely separated from the grounding for the talons (ie make sure that the grounds (black wires) are not "touching each other).
The easiest way to verify this is to disconnect your talon wires and see if the interference goes away.
If the fuse in the TM head is ok and the interference you are seeing started after your upgrade, you might want to double check any new wiring. The fuse was blown.i had my charger running when I installed the talons
