Delta Jigs ?

Post by MichaelB »

Regrettably, lost my last couple of Cooch's Wadda Jigs yesterday.
First .... anyone know of any hole in the wall outlets that still have any ?

Time to find alternates ....
I have used Dirty Jigs & Booyah BankRoll Jigs:
What are your preferences ....1/2 oz, casting/pitching jig for Delta ?

There’s lots of good ones out there, if I didnt tie my own I would use a 1/2oz Rodstrainer Flippin-Pitchin jig 90% of the time......but jigs don’t work

Miss going over to Cooch's and tying my own or having Jenni do it.

Don't forget about Johnny C's, California Reservoir Jigs. They work fine on the Delta also.

Haven't used the Canopy Grenades jig yet but that Dart they have is pretty good.

Yup Corny paved the way and Cooch's HAR on the Wadda jig was a beloved time on these boards and along the river. There are still a ton of guys catchin jig fish up and down this river with quality jigs and components - Im with Flippin Dbombs and made the switch last year to Canopy Grenades. That Flippin hook sports a 5/0 heavy duty hook and is wire tied so you wont lose skirts - Rich does custom colors but if you check out their website you'll see tons of off the shelf items for you. https://canopygrenades.com/collections/jigs

As a nod to ole Cooch I found some Fingernail Polish in the 99cent section in orange and red a couple of dabs on the lead head and I get to see my old friend.

These are the only 5" grubs I found. They are smoke, so you should be able to dye them to your purple color:

Yes I do have them but not for sale. If you have a group of fisherman that want that certain color do what I do call Yamamoto and they we'll run that color your looking for in the size you need in 5" double tail grubs. The catch is you have to order 3000 peices at a time.
3000 will last you awhile also.
I had them make up a color for me a few years ago in 4" double tail that no longer made. Work for me.

Sorry I forgot the count it's a 350 bag order one size special run color that is 7000 grubs
Around 2500.00 + tax + shipping not bad if you have ten fisherman that will do-it.

Isn't there somebody that owns the company the makes the wadda jigs.
They should be able too turn them out fairly easy.
