Come one come all to this years best summer team event. THE SNAG PROOF OPEN. This event will be help on Aug 5th and 6th at Russo's Marina on the Delta. late signs begin friday nite at 3PM and continue saturday morning at 5 AM. this years event features many KOOL thinngs including
Free Pancake breakfast on Saturday morning
Free Tri Tip dinner on Saturday nite
Free hot dogs and soda on sunday after weigh in.

Yes, that is the same weekend as the Western Rally (8/4-8/6/06) at Clear Lake and I was hoping to fish the Snag Proof this year since Korny was puttin' it on.

Now we all have to make some tough decisions...though mine was made as soon as the Rally's date was published last year.

The Rally has been moved up a week, July 29-30, so we can now fish both events

I have never fished a Snag Proof but I am lookin' forward to Ribbit Time!

The El Cajon Ford San Diego Team Open Starts August 7th. That has a $6.000 first place prize. Some of us from San Diego were hoping to get a chance to fish that Snag-Proof tournament this year. Seems like something always gets in the way.
