Anyone have today's NBW results at Castaic?
Re: Anyone have today's NBW results at Castaic?
Mike and I had such fun helping out at this tournament since John had other obligations. We are very thankful to Paul Vertullo, Rodney Sams and Roger Larocque for their kindness and helping us help them run the tournament. Their organization in the morning and fun, professional attitude during the weigh-ins made for a really fun day. A special thanks to our 9 year old grandson who barbecued for the anglers and actually ended up with $15 in tips from the anglers! (I think he wants to come to every tournament we run and cook!)
Here are the results and they should also be posted on nationalbasswest.com website soon along with the most current year to date standings.
With 36 teams here is the payout and the weights.
1 Jim White/Bill Griffith 20.45# $3514 2nd biggest bass 7.49#
2 Jim Frumento/Jay Poore 15.79# $1272 3rd biggest bass 4.52#
3 Jeff Lewis/Steve Nakawatse 15.54# $1234 1st biggest bass 7.77#
4 Mike and Dave Woernley 15.38# $367
5 Eric Carter/Robert Mac Lean 15.15# $283
6 Dominick Bonilla/ Jason Ferreira 14.11# $160
7 Sabino Cici/Frank King 13.99# $145
There were 93 fish caught all released. The combined fish weighed in at 248.17# with an average fish weight of 2.67# There were 13 limits brought in.
We hope all of the anglers that attended the tournament today enjoyed themselves as much as our family did. We at National Bass thank you for your support.
The next tournament for the Southwest region is on April 15th at
Casitas.

Congratulations Jim White and Bill Griffith
Sorry I wasn't there to help celebrate your win. I see that Jay Poore and Jim Frumento are back also.
