Well I started my day off today letting the rod locker slam shut on my BCFR 894 GLX flipping stick. It broke just below the 2nd eye about 2" down.
If I glue a new eye on the tip how do you think that is going to effect the feel of this rod? I throw jigs on this rod all the time and it is by far my favorite stick. At $440 I'm not ready to throw it in the trash.....

Loomis expeditors service
You can call Loomis customer service. Tell them which model you broke and ask for the expeditor service. for 50 bucks, they will ship you out a brand new rod no questions asked. All you have to do is pull the new rod out of the tube and but your two broken pieces back into the tube and place the pre-paid UPS shipping label on the outside of the tube and hand it back to your UPS driver.
Done.
If you have any problems with it, e-mail me and I'll help you out however I can.
