I'm sure that I made someone happy last week due to having to drop out of the WON Delta tournament (and Clear Lake too).
Both of my parents are really sick. Having to run up to Placerville every couple of weeks, and my dad's current prognosis (terminal - cancer) actually made this an easy decision. As others have said before, fishing is great but family has to come first.
Thanks to Hutch and Bonnie from WON Bass for being so understanding (had to miss the last day at Shasta also). Whoever got my spot at the Delta, I hope you get a big one. Should be a great bite.
Be safe and god bless.

Bill, my hopes and prayers are going out to you and your family..Years ago my father was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given six months to live..I took leave from the Navy and went home to try and spend some quality time with him..It was very scary and quite upsetting, but as it turned out the doctors were wrong, he survived for an additional seven years and the cancer went into remissiopn for the entire time and he was able to enjoy what time he had..Strange things have been known to happen, do not give up hope, even though it seems at times the easiest thing to do..Take care..

Take a kid fishing, and don't forget about us older kids either..
