Went to Tuttle Town yesterday the camp grounds are closed ramps are out of the water but why are they locking the gates at the top ramp it is closing the area to bank fisherman we should still have access to the lake

Lazy Government workers. They don't have to patrol or maintain that side of the lake. Do you think they cut anyone's hours or laid anyone off since only a small portion of the lake is open? No way Jose. Probably put 75% of them on paid time off.

Why close the campground? Some people come just to camp Others to hike. Trails.
What about the bank angler or the car top boater who needs no ramp
It’s not land of the free anymore
When the dam was built part of the agreement was to have FREE recreation. That stood true until they started charging use fees about 20 years ago?

There hasn't been one single improvement made there since they started charging entry fees. Still have to use vault toilets. The docks at the ramps are garbage. Pegs missing as well as sharp metal protruding where you tie up. Makes you proud to be a taxpayer.
