R U ready for MORON weekend
Re: R U ready for MORON weekend
Let the fun begin... the best seat in the house is at Orwood starting around 9:00am and runs all day. Time to start focusing on the 5mph zones in Disco Bay to get away from the newbies on the water rather than compete for water.
Re: R U ready for MORON weekend
Someone already got into an accident towing their boat on 29 south of Napa
.
Be carefull out there.

Re: R U ready for MORON weekend
Can we move these holidays to a Wednesday?
No more 3 day weekends for people to die.
No more high gas prices.
No more wasting time and gas in holiday traffic.
No more a-holes from the bay area coming to my town and screwing things up.
Spend a Wednesday reflecting the reason why it is a holiday. In this case, this weekend is Memorial Day. A day to reflect on the pay tribute to those who served in our armed forces and those who never made it home. I'm sad it has become race out of town, get drunk, and crash your boat day.

Speaking of which... I'm going to either be at Don Pedro this weekend (and yes I'm from the Bay Area).
Maybe I'll make it a point to swing by Copperopolis while I'm in town and add to the fun. lol

Re: R U ready for MORON weekend
It's an inside joke.
I make fun of folks up here. Once they moved here, THAT'S IT, no one else can come or they are ruining MY town! I had an old guy tell me the other day I was ruining his retirement by moving up here. I told him I understand because all these old guys are living longer and jacking up home prices so young guys like me can't afford a house. He was pissed
BTW, I grew up in a small town near Pleasanton called Livermore. I passed through the area the other day and couldn't find it. It seems they have moved Walnut Creek next to Pleasanton. I say some signs going up on the huge parking garge downtown that said "Welcome to Walnut Creek Jr."

Haha! Yeah I know what you mean! I was just joking with ya.
Not to worry though, the Saloon is still there in Livermore for the time being. I hear their going to add a Starbucks inside the place in a few months.
Believe me Dave I know exactly what you mean. When I was living in Disco Bay last year it was great until the weather started to warm up a few weekends before Memorial Day and the town literally trippled in size over night. I found that I pretty much stopped fishing all together after a few weeks during the day outisde of Dark :30 to 10:00am and about an hour before sunset to dusk.
