An environmental and fishing coalition is in ongoing litigation to address concerns about Steelhead experiencing a sharp increase in deaths at pumps operated by state and federal water managers.
Other species like the threatened spring-run and endangered winter-run Chinook Salmon are also dying at pumps.
In addition, moving the change in the point of diversion for the Delta Tunnel would only exacerbate these impacts. Better water management solutions are needed!
