Fishing in the Eastern Sierra Nevada

Post by WB Staff »

CDFW will be holding an informal meet and greet to discuss fishing in the Eastern Sierra Nevada. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet some of the local biologists, wildlife officers and staff at the Bishop Tri-county Fairgrounds in the Tallman building, on March 30, 2024, from 5-7 p.m. CDFW will be presenting on opportunities and resources available to anglers in California. Afterwards, there will be a question-and-answer session with the public. CDFW is looking forward to discussing fisheries management in Inyo and Mono counties, meeting fishing enthusiasts and having an open dialogue about angling opportunities. CDFW will address some of the usual topics of interest that include questions about fish stocking, the state of the hatcheries, fishing at Crowley Lake and Lahontan cutthroat trout restoration. CDFW welcomes an open discussion on all fisheries topics in the eastern Sierra Nevada.

Honestly, who cares about these fisheries you’re talking about planted fish for the most part you’re not talking about a wild fish and why is it they gets a special attention why is it so many counties in the state and the state overall is just hurting when it comes to trout fishing mean, obviously, what about every other county that’s being elected and miss managed in the state
