Let my bonehead mistake be a warning to you all....CARRY A CAMERA IN YOUR BOAT....I caught my first 10 lber and didn't have a camera and you guessed it not another boat around. Thankfully my wife was with me so at least I had one witness. I have been searching for me first double didget for over 2 years now and when it happened I don't have a freakin camera....well i stopped on my way home and bought 2 of those disposable ones.....never again will I not have one on my boat.....tough lesson learned.

I carry my cell phone with a camera on it.Best thing they ever did.And also a digital camera is by far the best way to go dont have to wait you can download on computer and print or send to anyone. The digital cameras are getting less expensive then they use to be.

Don't leave the disposable cameras in the sun. I lost a whole camera of great fishing pictures when my partner's son put the camera on the console behind the windshield on the last day of a ten day trip. Heartbreak.
Digitals work great on the water, they take better pictures, and they're getting cheaper all the time.
I now have a cheap Nikon Coolpix which came with a belt mounted holder that I take out every time. Easy and convenient. I can hold it at arm's length and take pictures of myself and the fish when I'm alone. With the "preview" screen, I can quickly check to see if the pic is okay, and take another if it's not.

Not only that, but I know you can buy 'single-use' digital cameras at drug stores such as Longs. I think they take up to 20 shots and they cost around $20! You take them back to the store and you get prints plus a CD with the pictures stored on them.
B-T-W, Congrats on a great catch!!!

For a while actully, my wife was laughing so hard at me shaking.... I truly enjoyed fighting the ol girl (the fish) when she jumped I thought i'd lose her, but with my wifes help we got her in the boat and weighed her, admired her, kissed her, and watched her swim off to spawn again....wow what a rush

MN,
sounds good to me, give me a call sometime and we'll set-up a date and time. I love coyote and don't mind traveling the road, seems I rarely see any other traffic on it.
