Local Angler (and bait) Featured on ESPN-2

For those of you who may be interested, ESPN-2 will be re-airing a segment on "BASS Insider" this week featuring local Big Bait specialist Rod Thigpin. Rod and his brother Todd are the creators of Stocker Trout Lures. The segment, which was filmed at Lake Casitas, will air on ESPN-2 this Thursday morning at 2:30 AM (PDT) and again on Friday morning at 2:00 AM (PDT) (Set that Tivo baby!).

Although I have not yet seen the segment, from what I hear, it contains some real good information on swimbait fishing (and at Lake Casitas, ta boot!).

Just thought that I would pass this info along, in case you are interested.

thanks for the heads up. I'm still Tivo challenged. I wonder how long I can still use my VHS tapes.

I saw the episode and in fact it was my first time watching BASS Insider. It was a good segment. They caught some hogs.

Overall, that show seems to be pretty good, I now have it TIVO'd every week.
