This week on the Ultimate Bass Radio Show:
Coming up in just a few weeks Skeet Reese will be honored at the induction ceremony for the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame in Springfield, MO. Skeet will join a class that includes Fred Arbogast, Mark Zona, Mike McKinnis and Alfred Williams. We hook up with Skeet to talk about the HOF, his thoughts on the induction, 2025 MLF season and much more during this off season. We also talk about in those same few weeks we will begin our 20th season of Ultimate Bass and we reflect back as Skeet was the very first guest on the first show.

The biggest news in the West came from the MLF camp this week as they have decided to suspend the Western Division of the Toyota Series for the 2025 season. This ends over 20 years that the MLF/FLW have supported the West with one of their events. Low fields and the economy were the reasons given for this decision from MLF.

The WON Bass Tour hits the water next week with a return trip to Lake Mead after several years of low water the levels are up enough to give Mead a try and a great warm up for the US Open coming to Lake Mojave in October. Five more anglers on each side will advance to the 2025 Bassmaster BASS Nation Nationals and there is a new Ranger/Mercury up for grabs.

We will be keeping an eye on the Bassmaster EQ Open event as well as several of our Western anglers try to keep themselves in that top 9 to advance to the Bassmaster Elite Series in 2025.
