You made one of the most important first steps in life. When I get back to Cali, I expect a guided trip on the Delta - your boat, your gas, your game plan.

And I will buy you lunch to congratulate you on your graduation.

All done with high school..Grown man now,,right,,Hey Jason, now life has just started..You really haven't learned anything yet, except what your parents have taught you..Now is the time to step up and show the world what you are capable of, it doesn't matter about a college degree, although they may come in handy..What matters is what you think of yourself and what you want to accomplish..But most important is how you go about doing it..CONGRATULATIONS Jason, you have just reached the first step to the rest of your life..

Jason,
Congratulations, I'm sure your parents are also proud of you.
Your at the age where your done, but yet starting all over again.
Though I do not want to discourage you from entering the firefighting field, I would like to give you something to chew on.

Go to college, get a marketing degree, along with a minor in finance.
Go into a sales postion...comission based with repeat sales.
Unlimited income potential and once you are established all the time off you choose.
Then with your large income...you have to invest in Real Estate, just to defer your income taxes for a later date.
Is it easy...No...but well worth it.
You can do it.
Congrats to life.

BTW...if you didn't get the book Rich Dad - Poor Dad, or Rich Dad - Poor Dad for Teens for a graduation present...it's time to now.
