i believe its a 99 optimax 200 Hp DFI
Low compression on one cylinder ( 80psi) / knock
Other 5 cylinders are 90-100psi across
New fuel pump - OEM
WSM 0.015” oversized rebuild kit / brand new rings/pistons etc
Serviced direct injectors/fuel injectors - sent to OKC to have them cleaned and flow tested
Unknown hours - runs but knocks around 2000 rpm
Inspected air pump, disassembled but nothing was wrong. Works perfectly still
Backstory***
Bought the motor blown, the piston was melted on one cylinder (from previous owner). Rebuilt this motor myself. Sent the block to American star marina to bore 0.015” over, port chamfered. 1 new sleeve pressed in. Motor was running flawless during break in period. Started knocking around 7-8 hours of break in. Don’t have time to tear it apart. Already repowered. No longer need. Can give extensive details and videos/pictures for serious buyers.
No steering, no prop
Good for rebuilding or parts.
