Nixon’s Marine/Skeeter Boats 2025 Big Bass Tournament was held on Saturday May 17 at Potholes Reservoir with Mar Don Resort Marina being the host site. This event consisted of a 166 boat field and payed out well over $100,000 in cash and prizes. Hourly payouts equaled $2,750 along with sponsor provided products. Nixon’s Marine paid the Biggest Bass of the tournament an additional $2,500.
Looking back on this tremendous event there are so many people to thank. First and foremost the sponsors who help make this all possible; the anglers, who venture out in all types of weather to follow their passion; and lastly the event crew that puts in tireless hours before, during and after the event.
Congratulations to all the hourly winners on cashing some nice checks - you all brought some very nice fish to the scales. Biggest congratulations to the Luke Morgan and Shawn McDaniel on winning the new Skeeter ZXR19.
