"You Don't have Permission" What's that supposed to mean?

Post by Fast Eddie »

Beginning earlier this week (or maybe last week :lol: ) without logging, as a guest, you used to be able to view the posts entirely and then decide whether or not you'd want to respond, therefore logging in. Example was Jiggin's photos of handmade jigs. When I clicked on his post (as a guest) the message read where the photos were "you don't have permission to view blah blah blah"! NO PHOTOS unless you logged in. IMHO this is not a good thing, because non members/guests apparently cannot see the photos unless they join or log in. Same for the BAM Pro Am flyer.
So is it my lack of puter knowledge or has WB changed there algorithm so guests can no longer view posts fully? Anyway its annoying. :D

It because of the lame *** site owner or owners and writers well they don't give a dam as long as the sponsors pay the bills
Go over to Tackle Underground see how the new owner cleaned up that website
Same with Bass boat central and Texas fishing forum
They all saw the writing on the wall about social media taking over they made some chances and the sites are doing fine
Don't use the excuse it's social media fault there taking over.
Westernbass just need to clean up there site
So it easy to follow for both guest and members.

When I got that message I would right click and reload the page and it would come up. It worked most of the time but sometimes it didn't. Right now the site is working fine for me.

:D hey I'm running out of ideas for tying jigs I just showed one of the former bassmaster classic winners how to tie both the Lion collar and the puffball jigs he already got a video out on how to tie the puffball jig he did about a week and half ago. Very good work for just learning how. I showed him the other more finesse style jigs and how to tie them today I'm sure he going to do a video on them also.

@jiggin
as one of the "lame *** writers" here on WB I wanted to thank you for your kind words :?

@fast eddie
I was getting the same message, signed in or not signed it - for me it didn't matter which, I still got it. (Oh nooooo there goes Jiggin's theory that it had something to do with "paying sponsors" as analytics don't register whether traffic is "logged in or not" lurkers are traffic too SMH)

IT said it was something they did a couple weeks ago that goes up when there are bot hackers or something. I will check again and see if someone else can explain better.
