Need Prop Guy!

Post by gabuelhaj »

I need some prop work done. Can anyone recommend a good prop guy close to the Manteca area?

It's a new prop and needs some tweaking.....

Thanks!

Phil's Props in Redding, even if I were in Antarctica and needed prop work, I'd still mail it to them. They are simply THE BEST!!!

I 2nd on Phills. I droped mine off at C&C in modesto and got it back in a week. I had a flat spot on one blade and a few chips. I got it back in A1 condition. :D

I agree with Scott! Phill's is the place. I am sure all the prop guys do a good job, but some won't polish the finish or maybe not pay as close attention to the ballance. For me was a 5 day turnaround and the best performance dollars I have spent on my boat. Call them up in advance let them know who you are and what you want.
Good Luck.

I have heard many good things about phils, but will say this- I seen Gary Peeler (tru pitch) at fishermans warehouse where he was showing things that can be done.. he ask the folks in attendance if anybody brought there prop to check out..one of the employees of fishermans warehouse had just got a prop back from phils - still in shipping box - pulled the prop out of the box and put it on the balance tool - it spun around - way off balance - never heard or seen any other issues with phils though.
