Pull up ta Russo's and see a kid hangin round the docks lookin ta go fishin, offer em a back seat. I spoke to 70+ parents yesterday and a few teens asked me about prefishing. The number of kids and their families who will be either camping at Russo's or Sugar Barge, or staying somewhere on the Island this weekend is staggering this year! Make a new friend early if'n ya see one of these teens hanging round, Cooch sent em there!

I will be not be able to be there this Sunday due to a prior guide commitment. This will be the first one I will miss and I am bummed. I have always looked forward to this event every year. But I have hooked up with a teen and his dad to take them out Saturday morning as Cooch has suggested, so I can sort be part of it still. Guys, come on out and take a kid fishing. There's nothing like putting a smile on kids face when they hook up and you are part of that.

I'll be fishing Saturday morning with a friend I have'nt seen in awhile til about noon. I'm going to drop him off at Brannon and then I'll make my way over towards Russo's if anyone wants to jump aboard.
